Yesterday, I saw a cute puppy. I went up to him to pet him, and when I did, I noticed that he had no eyes. He was an old dog, so I guess he wasn’t a puppy, but anyway… I saw that he had no eyes and suddenly became sad. A few tears began welling up in my eyes because I felt sorry for this poor dog. But then I realized, he seemed really happy. His tail was wagging, he was panting, and he seemed to be smiling. I pet him, and he did not even flinch. Instead, he jumped up and put his paws on me to stand on his back legs. This experience reminded me that no matter what the circumstances are in someone’s life, you should freely show love no matter what, and just be happy.

“But there are times where a critic truly risks something, and that is in the discovery and defense of the new. Word is often unkind to new talent, new creations - the new needs friends. Last night, I experienced something new, an extraordinary meal from a singularly unexpected source. To say that both the meal and its maker challenge my preconceptions about fine cooking is a gross understatement. They have rocked me to my core. In the past, I have made no secret of my distain for Chef Gusteau’s famous motto - “Anyone can cook”. But I realize now do I truly understand what he meant: Not everyone can become a great artist, but a great artist can come from anywhere”

This is why I love Pixar.
